Is There a Such Thing as a Soulmate?

I've never been someone that believed in soulmates. Maybe I'm just someone who is old and has no clue about love. Or maybe I'm just someone who has been heart broken so many times that I'm bitter. Either way, I think that soulmates don't exist, or do they?

This is something that I used to think until I looked back on the one that got away. I think my soulmate was a past boyfriend of mine who I onced love. Does a soulmate actually stick around. Or can you lose them along the way.

I think most people think that soulmates are people who stay forever. I don't think that is the case. I think that your soulmate is someone you connect with on a level deeper than surface.

I think soulmates are people who understand you better than yourself. I think that soulmates might be the people who love you deeper than the deepest ocean. That type of love doesn't come along often, so when it does; make sure that you hold on to it. Don't be afraid to love back and be sure that you appreciate it.

I wondered to myself why don't we write love letters anymore. Like everything is written through a text message or Social media, but never through pen and paper. Does that bother any of you that no one believe in writing letters anymore? I remember the time when my boyfriend used to send me letters at school and through the mail.
